Translations

(Etheridge) But this was done that what is written in the prophets might be fulfilled. Then the disciples all deserted him, and fled.

(Murdock) And this occurred, that the writings of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then the disciples all forsook him and fled.

(Lamsa) But this has happened so that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples left him, and fled.

(KJV) But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled.
