Translations

(Etheridge) And he said, On this account a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

(Murdock) And he said: For this reason, a man shall leave his father and his mother, and adhere to his wife; and they two shall be one flesh.

(Lamsa) And he said, Because of this, a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall be joined to his wife, and the two shall be one flesh.

(KJV) And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?
