Translations

(Etheridge) His disciples say to him, If thus be the case between the man and the woman, it is not expedient to take a wife.

(Murdock) His disciples say to him: If such is the case between man and wife, it is not expedient to take a wife.

(Lamsa) His disciples said to him, If there is so much scandal between man and woman, it is not worthwhile to marry.

(KJV) His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is not good to marry.
