Translations

(Etheridge) THEREFORE is the kingdom of the heavens likened to a royal person ^{[A man a king.]} who would take the account from his servants.

(Murdock) Therefore the kingdom of heaven is like to some king, who wished to have a reckoning with his servants.

(Lamsa) Therefore the kingdom of heaven is likened to a king who wanted to take an accounting from his servants.

(KJV) Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants.
