Translations

(Etheridge) and said to him, My Lord, have mercy on me ! my son is lunatic and grievously afflicted; for often he falleth into the fire and often into the water.

(Murdock) and said to him: My Lord, compassionate me. I have a son who is a lunatic, and grievously afflicted; for often he falleth into the fire, and often into the water.

(Lamsa) My Lord, have mercy on me; my son is an epileptic and has become worse; he often falls into the fire, and often into the water.

(KJV) Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water.
