Translations

(Etheridge) For whosoever willeth to save his life, shall lose it; and whosoever will lose his life for my sake, shall find it.

(Murdock) For, whoever chooseth to preserve his life, shall lose it; and whoever will lose his life for my sake, shall find it.

(Lamsa) For whoever wishes to save his life shall lose it; and whoever loses his life for my sake shall find it.

(KJV) For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
