Translations

(Etheridge) Then Kipha took him (apart ?) and began to expostulate with him, and said, Far be it from thee, my Lord, that this should be to thee !

(Murdock) And Cephas took him, and began to rebuke him; and he said: Far be it from thee, my Lord, that this should be to thee.

(Lamsa) So Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him, and he said, Far be it from you, my Lord, that this should happen to you.

(KJV) Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee.
