Translations

(Etheridge) They said to him, Some say that thou art Juchanon the Baptizer, but others Elia, and others Eramia, or one from the prophets.

(Murdock) And they said: Some say that [thou art] John the Baptizer; but others, Elijah; and others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets.

(Lamsa) They said, There are some who say John the Baptist, others Elijah, and still others Jeremiah, or one of the prophets:

(KJV) And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.
