Translations

(Etheridge) But at the birth-day of Herodes, the daughter of Herodia danced before those who reclined, and she pleased Herodes;

(Murdock) But when Herod's birthday festival occurred, the daughter of Herodias danced before the guests; and she pleased Herod.

(Lamsa) When Herod's birthday came, the daughter of Herodias danced before the guests, and it pleased Herod.

(KJV) But when Herod's birthday was kept, the daughter of Herodias danced before them, and pleased Herod.
