Translations

(Etheridge) and came to his city, and taught them in their synagogues, so that they were astounded and said, Whence hath he (Whence to him) this wisdom and these powers ?

(Murdock) And he entered into his own city. And he taught them in their synagogues, in such manner that they wondered, and said: Whence hath he this wisdom and [these] works of power ?

(Lamsa) And he came to his own city; and he taught them in their synagogues, in such a way, that they were amazed and said, Where did he get this wisdom and these wonders?

(KJV) And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works?
