Mark 8:31 - ܘܫܰܪܺܝ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܠܡܰܠܳܦ݂ܽܘ ܐܶܢܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܰܥܬ݂ܺܝܕ݂ ܗ݈ܽܘ ܒ݁ܪܶܗ ܕ݁ܐ݈ܢܳܫܳܐ ܕ݁ܢܶܚܰܫ ܣܰܓ݁ܺܝ ܘܰܕ݂ܢܶܣܬ݁ܠܶܐ ܡܶܢ ܩܰܫܺܝܫܶܐ ܘܡܶܢ ܪܰܒ݁ܰܝ ܟ݁ܳܗܢܶܐ ܘܡܶܢ ܣܳܦ݂ܪܶܐ ܘܢܶܬ݂ܩܛܶܠ ܘܠܰܬ݂ܠܳܬ݂ܳܐ ܝܰܘܡܺܝܢ ܢܩܽܘܡ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) And he began to teach them, that it was to be that the Son of man should suffer much, and be rejected by the elders, and by the chief priests, and by the Sophree, and be killed, and that the third day he should arise !

(Murdock) And he began to teach them, that the Son of man was about to suffer much, and be rejected by the Elders and by the chief priests and by the Scribes, and be killed, and rise on the third day.

(Lamsa) Then he began to teach them, that the Son of man will have to suffer a great deal, and be rejected by the elders, and the high priests, and the scribes, and be killed, and rise again on the third day.

(KJV) And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.
