Mark 6:27 - ܐܶܠܳܐ ܡܶܚܕ݂ܳܐ ܫܰܕ݁ܰܪ ܡܰܠܟ݁ܳܐ ܐܶܣܦ݁ܽܘܩܠܰܛܪܳܐ ܘܰܦ݂ܩܰܕ݂ ܕ݁ܢܰܝܬ݁ܶܐ ܪܺܫܶܗ ܕ݁ܝܽܘܚܰܢܳܢ ܘܶܐܙܰܠ ܦ݁ܰܣܩܶܗ ܪܺܫܶܗ ܕ݁ܝܽܘܚܰܢܳܢ ܒ݁ܶܝܬ݂ ܐܰܣܺܝܪܶܐ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) But the king despatched at once a sentinel, and commanded that he should bring the head of Juchanon. And he went and cut off the head of Juchanon in the house of the bound,

(Murdock) and the king sent immediately an executioner, and commanded [him] to bring the head of John. And he went, and struck off the head of John in the prison;

(Lamsa) So the king immediately sent the executioner, and commanded to bring the head of John. And he went and beheaded John in the prison,

(KJV) And immediately the king sent an executioner, and commanded his head to be brought: and he went and beheaded him in the prison,
