Mark 4:21 - ܘܶܐܡܰܪ ܠܗܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܰܠܡܳܐ ܐܳܬ݂ܶܐ ܫܪܳܓ݂ܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܬ݂ܚܶܝܬ݂ ܣܰܐܬ݂ܳܐ ܢܶܬ݁ܬ݁ܣܺܝܡ ܐܰܘ ܬ݁ܚܶܝܬ݂ ܥܰܪܣܳܐ ܠܳܐ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܕ݁ܥܰܠ ܡܢܳܪܬ݁ܳܐ ܢܶܬ݁ܬ݁ܣܺܝܡ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) And he said to them, A lamp never cometh to be put under a measure, or under a bed: is it not set upon a candlestick ?

(Murdock) And he said to them: Is a lamp brought to be placed under a bushel, or under a bed ? Is it not to be placed on a light-stand ?

(Lamsa) And he said to them, Is a lamp brought and put under a basket or under a bed? Is it not put on a lampholder?

(KJV) And he said unto them, Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel, or under a bed? and not to be set on a candlestick?
