Mark 2:27 - ܘܶܐܡܰܪ ܠܗܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܫܰܒ݁ܬ݂ܳܐ ܡܶܛܽܠ ܒ݁ܰܪܢܳܫܳܐ ܐܶܬ݂ܒ݁ܰܪܝܰܬ݂ ܘܠܳܐ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܒ݁ܰܪܢܳܫܳܐ ܡܶܛܽܠ ܫܰܒ݁ܬ݂ܳܐ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) And he said to them, that the shabath on account of the Son of man was made, and not the Son of man on account of the shabath.

(Murdock) And he said to them: The sabbath was made on man's account, and not man for the sake of the sabbath.

(Lamsa) And he said to them, The sabbath was created for the sake of man, and not man for the sake of the sabbath.

(KJV) And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:
