Translations

(Etheridge) And the Sophree and Pharishee, when they saw him eat with publicans and with sinners, said to his disciples, Why with publicans and with sinners doth he eat and drink ?

(Murdock) And when the Scribes and Pharisees saw that he ate with publicans and with sinners, they said to his disciples:Why doth he eat and drink with publicans and sinners ?

(Lamsa) And when the scribes and the Pharisees saw him eating with the publicans and sinners, they said to his disciples, Why does he eat and drink with publicans and sinners?

(KJV) And when the scribes and Pharisees saw him eat with publicans and sinners, they said unto his disciples, How is it that he eateth and drinketh with publicans and sinners?
