Translations
(Etheridge) Then the chief of the priests tore his robe, and said, Why now seek we witnesses ?
(Murdock) And the high priest rent his tunic, and said: What need of witnesses have we, any more ?
(Lamsa) Then the high priest tore his robe, and said, Why therefore do we need witnesses?
(KJV) Then the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What need we any further witnesses?
