Translations

(Etheridge) And many rebuked him, that he should be silent: but he cried out the more, saying, Son of David, have mercy on me!

(Murdock) And many rebuked him, that he might be silent. But he cried out the more, and said: Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.

(Lamsa) And many rebuked him to keep quiet, but he cried out the more, saying, O son of David, have mercy on me.

(KJV) And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou son of David, have mercy on me.
