Luke 9:8 - ܐ݈ܚܪܳܢܶܐ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܐܳܡܪܺܝܢ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܕ݁ܺܐܠܺܝܳܐ ܐܶܬ݂ܚܙܺܝ ܘܰܐ݈ܚܪܳܢܶܐ ܕ݁ܰܢܒ݂ܺܝܳܐ ܡܶܢ ܢܒ݂ܺܝܶܐ ܩܰܕ݂ܡܳܝܶܐ ܩܳܡ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) But others said that Elia had appeared, and others that a prophet from the former prophets had risen.

(Murdock) But others said, that Elijah hath appeared; and others, that a prophet from among the ancient prophets hath arisen.

(Lamsa) But others, that Elijah has appeared; and others, that one of the old prophets has risen.

(KJV) And of some, that Elias had appeared; and of others, that one of the old prophets was risen again.
