Translations

(Etheridge) And he sent messengers before his face, and they went and entered into a village of the Shomroyee, so as to prepare for him.

(Murdock) And he sent messengers before his face; and they went, and entered a village of the Samaritans, to prepare [lodgings] for him.

(Lamsa) So he sent messengers ahead of him; and they went away and entered into a Samaritan village, to prepare for him.

(KJV) And sent messengers before his face: and they went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for him.
