Luke 9:19 - ܥܢܰܘ ܘܳܐܡܪܺܝܢ ܠܶܗ ܕ݁ܝܽܘܚܰܢܳܢ ܡܰܥܡܕ݂ܳܢܳܐ ܘܰܐ݈ܚܪܳܢܶܐ ܕ݁ܺܐܠܺܝܳܐ ܐ݈ܚܪܳܢܶܐ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܕ݁ܰܢܒ݂ܺܝܳܐ ܚܰܕ݂ ܡܶܢ ܢܒ݂ܺܝܶܐ ܩܰܕ݂ܡܳܝܶܐ ܩܳܡ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) They answered and say to him, Juchanon the Baptizer; and others that (thou art) Elia; but others that a prophet from the former prophets hath arisen.

(Murdock) They answer and say to him: John the Baptizer; others, Elijah and others, a prophet, one of the ancient prophets arisen.

(Lamsa) They answered and said to him, John the Baptist; and others, Elijah; and others that one of the old prophets has risen.

(KJV) They answering said, John the Baptist; but some say, Elias; and others say, that one of the old prophets is risen again.
