Translations

(Etheridge) for they were about five thousand men. Jeshu said to them, Make them recline in reclining companies, fifty men in a company.

(Murdock) for they were about five thousand men. Jesus said to them: Make them recline by companies, fifty persons in a company.

(Lamsa) For there were about five thousand men. Jesus said to them, Make them sit down in groups, fifty men in each group.

(KJV) For they were about five thousand men. And he said to his disciples, Make them sit down by fifties in a company.
