Translations

(Etheridge) And they were all weeping and wailing for her; but Jeshu said, Weep not, for she is not dead, but asleep.

(Murdock) And all were weeping and wailing over her. And Jesus said: Weep not; for she is not dead, but sleepeth

(Lamsa) And all of them were weeping and mourning over her; but Jesus said, Do not weep, for she is not dead but asleep.

(KJV) And all wept, and bewailed her: but he said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth.
