Translations

(Etheridge) And when he had gone forth to the land, there met him a certain man from the city, who had a devil in him a great time, and (who) wore no clothes, and in a house dwelt not, but in the place of the buried.

(Murdock) And when he went out upon the land, there, met him a man of the city, in whom had been a demon for a long time; and he wore no clothing, and did not reside in a house, but among the tombs.

(Lamsa) And when he landed, he was met by a man from the city, who had the demon in him for a long time, and he did not wear clothes, and did not live in a house, but in the cemetery.

(KJV) And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long time, and ware no clothes, neither abode in any house, but in the tombs.
