Translations

(Etheridge) And at the dawn of day he departed, and went to a desert place; and the people sought him, and came to him, and held him, that he should not go from them:

(Murdock) And at the dawn of day, he went out and retired to a desert place. And the multitudes sought him, and went out to him, and held him fast, that he might not retire from them.

(Lamsa) And in the morning, he came out and went to a desert place; and the people were looking for him, and came where he was; and they held him so that he might not leave them.

(KJV) And when it was day, he departed and went into a desert place: and the people sought him, and came unto him, and stayed him, that he should not depart from them.
