Translations

(Etheridge) And when he knew that he was from the limit of the jurisdiction of Herodes, he sent him unto Herodes, because that in Urishlem he was in those days.

(Murdock) And having learned that he was from under Herod's jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod; for he was at Jerusalem on those days.

(Lamsa) And when he knew that he was under the jurisdiction of Herod, he sent him to Herod, because he was in Jerusalem in those days.

(KJV) And as soon as he knew that he belonged unto Herod's jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod, who himself also was at Jerusalem at that time.
