Translations

(Etheridge) And all the multitude, they who were assembled to see this, when they saw what was done, returned, smiting upon their breasts.

(Murdock) And all the multitudes who had assembled at this spectacle, on seeing what occurred, returned, smiting upon their breasts.

(Lamsa) And all the people who were gathered together to see this sight, when they saw what had happened, returned, beating their breasts.

(KJV) And all the people that came together to that sight, beholding the things which were done, smote their breasts, and returned.
