Luke 20:16 - ܢܺܐܬ݂ܶܐ ܘܢܰܘܒ݁ܶܕ݂ ܠܦ݂ܰܠܳܚܶܐ ܗܳܢܽܘܢ ܘܢܶܬ݁ܶܠ ܟ݁ܰܪܡܳܐ ܠܰܐ݈ܚܪܳܢܶܐ ܟ݁ܰܕ݂ ܫܡܰܥܘ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܐܶܡܰܪܘ ܠܳܐ ܬ݁ܶܗܘܶܐ ܗܳܕ݂ܶܐ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) He will come and destroy those husbandmen, and will give the vinery to others. But when they heard, they said, May this not be !

(Murdock) He will come, and destroy those cultivators, and will lease the vineyard to others. And when they heard [it], they said: This shall not be.

(Lamsa) He will come and destroy those laborers, and give the vineyard to others. And when they heard it, they said, This will never happen.

(KJV) He shall come and destroy these husbandmen, and shall give the vineyard to others. And when they heard it, they said, God forbid.
