Translations

(Etheridge) And as he drew nigh to Jirichu, a certain blind man was sitting by the road-side, ^{[Hand of the way.]} and begging.

(Murdock) And as they came near to Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the side of the way, begging.

(Lamsa) And when he drew near Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the roadside and begging.

(KJV) And it came to pass, that as he was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging:
