Translations

(Etheridge) But a certain widow was in that city, who came to him, saying, Avenge me of my adversary.

(Murdock) And there was a certain widow in that city; and she came to him, and said: Vindicate me against my adversary.

(Lamsa) There was a widow in that city, and she used to come to him, saying, Avenge me of my accuser.

(KJV) And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.
