Luke 17:24 - ܐܰܝܟ݁ܰܢܳܐ ܓ݁ܶܝܪ ܕ݁ܒ݂ܰܪܩܳܐ ܒ݁ܳܪܶܩ ܡܶܢ ܫܡܰܝܳܐ ܘܟ݂ܽܠܶܗ ܬ݁ܚܶܝܬ݂ ܫܡܰܝܳܐ ܡܰܢܗܰܪ ܗܳܟ݂ܰܢܳܐ ܢܶܗܘܶܐ ܒ݁ܪܶܗ ܕ݁ܐ݈ܢܳܫܳܐ ܒ݁ܝܰܘܡܶܗ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) For as the lightning lighteneth from heaven, and illuminateth all beneath the heaven, so shall be the Son of man in his day.

(Murdock) For, as the lightning darteth from the heavens, and illuminateth all beneath the heavens; so will the Son of man be, in his day.

(Lamsa) For just as the lightning flashes from the sky, and all under the sky is lightened, such will be the day of the Son of man.

(KJV) For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.
