Translations

(Etheridge) And praised our Lord the house-chief who was unjust, in that he had done wisely; for the sons of this world are wiser than the sons of light in this their generation.

(Murdock) And our Lord praised the unrighteous steward, for having acted sagaciously: for the children of this world are more sagacious than the children of light, in this their generation.

(Lamsa) And the lord praised the unjust steward because he had done wisely; for the children of this world are wiser in their generation than the children of light.

(KJV) And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.
