Translations

(Etheridge) But his father said to his servants, Bring forth the first ^{[Or, principal.]} robe to clothe him, and put a ring upon his hand, and let him be, shod with sandals,

(Murdock) But his father said to his servants: Bring forth the best robe, and clothe him, and put a ring on his hand, and supply him with shoes.

(Lamsa) But his father said to his servants, Bring the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet;

(KJV) But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:
