Translations

(Etheridge) Another said, Five yoke of oxen have I bought, and I go to prove them: I beseech thee, permit me to be excused.

(Murdock) Another said: I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to inspect them. I pray thee, allow me to be excused.

(Lamsa) Another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I am just going to examine them; I beg you, excuse me for being called away.

(KJV) And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused.
