Translations

(Etheridge) AND it was that while he went into the house of one of the chief Pharishee to eat bread, on the day of shabath, they watched him.

(Murdock) And it occurred, that, as he entered the house of one of the chief Pharisees to eat bread, on the sabbath day, they watched him.

(Lamsa) AND it came to pass when he entered the house of one of the leaders of the Pharisees to eat bread on a sabbath day, they watched him.

(KJV) And it came to pass, as he went into the house of one of the chief Pharisees to eat bread on the sabbath day, that they watched him.
