Translations

(Etheridge) Suppose you that peace I have come to send forth on the earth ? I tell you, not (peace), but divisions.

(Murdock) Suppose ye, that I have come to produce tranquillity on the earth ? I tell you, No: but division.

(Lamsa) Do you think that I have come to bring peace on earth? I say to you, No, but divisions;

(KJV) Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:
