Luke 11:36 - ܐܶܢ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܦ݁ܰܓ݂ܪܳܟ݂ ܟ݁ܽܠܶܗ ܢܰܗܺܝܪ ܘܠܰܝܬ݁ ܒ݁ܶܗ ܡܢܳܬ݂ܳܐ ܡܶܕ݁ܶܡ ܚܶܫܽܘܟ݂ܳܐ ܢܶܗܘܶܐ ܡܰܢܗܰܪ ܟ݁ܽܠܶܗ ܐܰܝܟ݂ ܕ݁ܰܫܪܳܓ݂ܳܐ ܒ݁ܕ݂ܰܠܩܶܗ ܡܰܢܗܰܪ ܠܳܟ݂ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) But if thy whole body be illuminated, and no part whatever in it be darkness, the whole will be light, as when a lamp with its flame enlighteneth thee.

(Murdock) For if thy whole body be enlightened, and no part in it be dark, the whole will be luminous, as if a lamp enlightened thee by its radiance.

(Lamsa) If your whole body is lighted, and there is no part in it dark, the whole of it will give light, just as a lamp gives you light with its shining.

(KJV) If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.
