Translations

(Etheridge) In that hour Jeshu exulted in the Holy Spirit, and said, I praise thee, my Father, Lord of heaven and of earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and the intellectual, and hast revealed them unto children. Yes, my Father, for so was thy will. ^{[Or, so was the will before thee.]}

(Murdock) In that hour Jesus exulted in the Holy Spirit, and said: I thank thee, my Father, thou Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and intelligent, and hast revealed them to babes: yes, my Father, for such was thy good pleasure.

(Lamsa) At that very hour, Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said, I thank you, O my Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you did hide these things from the wise and men of understanding, and did reveal them to children; yes, my Father, for so it was well pleasing in your presence.

(KJV) In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.
