Translations

(Etheridge) And his mother answered and said to them, Not so; but he shall be called Juchanon.

(Murdock) And his mother answered and said: Not so; but John, shall he be called.

(Lamsa) And his mother answered and said to them, Not so; but he should be called John.

(KJV) And his mother answered and said, Not so; but he shall be called John.
