Translations

(Etheridge) And it was the eighth day, and they came to circumcise the child; and they called him by the name of his father, Zakaria.

(Murdock) And it occurred, that on the eighth day they came to circumcise the child. And they called him by the name of his father, Zachariah.

(Lamsa) And it happened on the eighth day, they came to circumcise the boy; and they would have called him Zacharias, after the name of his father.

(KJV) And it came to pass, that on the eighth day they came to circumcise the child; and they called him Zacharias, after the name of his father.
