Translations

(Etheridge) BUT again ^{[This lesson begins at chapter viii. verse 12 of the Western Recensions. The section from the last verse of chap. vii. to the 12th of the eighth chapter is omitted in the Peschito. See Hor - Aramaic, p. 81.]} spake Jeshu with them, and said, I am the Light of the world: he who followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall find the light of life.

(Murdock) And Jesus again conversed with them, and said: I am the light of the world: he that cometh to me, will not walk in darkness; but will find for himself the light of life.

(Lamsa) Again Jesus spoke to them and said, I am the light of the world; he who follows me shall not walk in darkness, but he shall find for himself the light of life.

(KJV) Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
