John 7:23 - ܐܶܢ ܒ݁ܰܪܢܳܫܳܐ ܡܶܬ݂ܓ݁ܙܰܪ ܒ݁ܝܰܘܡܳܐ ܕ݁ܫܰܒ݁ܬ݂ܳܐ ܡܶܛܽܠ ܕ݁ܠܳܐ ܢܶܫܬ݁ܪܶܐ ܢܳܡܽܘܣܳܐ ܕ݁ܡܽܘܫܶܐ ܥܠܰܝ ܪܳܛܢܺܝܢ ܐܢ݈ܬ݁ܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܟ݂ܽܠܶܗ ܒ݁ܰܪܢܳܫܳܐ ܐܰܚܠܡܶܬ݂ ܒ݁ܝܰܘܡܳܐ ܕ݁ܫܰܒ݁ܬ݂ܳܐ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) But if a man is circumcised on the day of shabath because the law of Musha may not be broken, why against me do you murmur, because I have altogether healed a man on the day of shabath ?

(Murdock) And if a child is circumcised on the sabbath day, that the law of Moses may not be violated, do ye murmur at me, because I have made a man entirely sound on the sabbath day ?

(Lamsa) So if a man is circumcised on the sabbath day, that the law of Moses may not be broken; yet you murmur at me, because I healed a whole man on the sabbath day?

(KJV) If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are ye angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day?
