Translations

(Etheridge) and there was great murmuring concerning him among the people; for some said that he was good, and others said, No; but he deceiveth the people.

(Murdock) And there was much altercation among the people respecting him; for some said, He is a good man; while others said, No, but he deceiveth the people.

(Lamsa) And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him; for some said, He is good; and others said, No, but he just deceives the people.

(KJV) And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him: for some said, He is a good man: others said, Nay; but he deceiveth the people.
