Translations

(Etheridge) But there was a question with some of the disciples of Juchanon (and) a certain Jihudoya, upon purification.

(Murdock) And one of John's disciples and a certain Jew had disputed respecting purification.

(Lamsa) Now it happened that a dispute arose between one of John's disciples and a Jew about the ceremony of purifying.

(KJV) Then there arose a question between some of John's disciples and the Jews about purifying.
