Translations

(Etheridge) For I of myself have not spoken, but the Father who sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

(Murdock) For I have not spoken from myself; but the Father who sent me, he gave me commandment, what I should speak, and what I should say.

(Lamsa) For I did not speak of myself; but the Father who sent me, he commanded me what to say and what to speak.

(KJV) For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
