John 12:42 - ܐܳܦ݂ ܡܶܢ ܪܺܫܶܐ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܣܰܓ݁ܺܝܶܐܐ ܗܰܝܡܶܢܘ ܒ݁ܶܗ ܐܶܠܳܐ ܡܶܛܽܠ ܦ݁ܪܺܝܫܶܐ ܠܳܐ ܡܰܘܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܕ݁ܠܳܐ ܢܶܗܘܽܘܢ ܠܒ݂ܰܪ ܡܶܢ ܟ݁ܢܽܘܫܬ݁ܳܐ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) Yet of the chiefs also many believed in him: but because of the Pharishee they did not confess, that they might not be put out of the synagogue:

(Murdock) And of the chiefs also, many believed on him; but on account of the Pharisees, they did not confess [him], lest they should be put out of the synagogue;

(Lamsa) Many of the leading men also believed in him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess it, so that they might not be cast out of the synagogue.

(KJV) Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue:
