John 12:29 - ܘܟ݂ܶܢܫܳܐ ܕ݁ܩܳܐܶܡ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܫܡܰܥܘ ܘܳܐܡܪܺܝܢ ܪܰܥܡܳܐ ܗܘܳܐ ܐ݈ܚܪܳܢܶܐ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܐܳܡܪܺܝܢ ܡܰܠܰܐܟ݂ܳܐ ܡܰܠܶܠ ܥܰܡܶܗ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) And the company who stood, heard, and they said there was thunder. But others said, An angel spake with him.

(Murdock) And the multitude standing by, heard [it]; and they said: There was thunder. But others said: An angel spoke with him.

(Lamsa) And the people who stood by heard it, and said, It was thunder; others said, An angel spoke to him.

(KJV) The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him.
