Translations

(Etheridge) Jeshu, groaning within himself, came to the house of burial; and that house of burial was a cave, and a stone was laid at the gate of it.

(Murdock) And Jesus, still agitated within, came to the grave. Now the grave was a cave, and a stone was laid upon its entrance.

(Lamsa) As Jesus was disturbed in himself because of them, he came to the tomb. That tomb was a cave, and a stone was placed at the entrance.

(KJV) Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.
