John 11:37 - ܐ݈ܢܳܫܺܝܢ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܡܶܢܗܽܘܢ ܐܶܡܰܪܘ ܠܳܐ ܡܶܫܟ݁ܰܚ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܗܳܢܳܐ ܕ݁ܦ݂ܰܬ݁ܰܚ ܥܰܝܢܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܕ݁ܗܰܘ ܣܰܡܝܳܐ ܢܶܥܒ݁ܶܕ݂ ܕ݁ܳܐܦ݂ ܗܳܢܳܐ ܠܳܐ ܢܡܽܘܬ݂ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) But some of them said, Could not this who opened the eyes of that blind have caused also that this should not have died ?

(Murdock) And some of them said: Could not he who opened the eyes of the blind man, have caused that this also should not have died ?

(Lamsa) Some of them said, Could not this man, who opened the eyes of that blind man, have also kept this man from dying?

(KJV) And some of them said, Could not this man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not have died?
