Translations

(Etheridge) and he went beyond Jurdan, to the place where Juchanon at first had baptized, and was there.

(Murdock) and retired to the other side of the Jordan, to the place where John at first baptized, and tarried there.

(Lamsa) And he went away to the Jordan crossing, to the place where John was, where he first baptized; and he remained there.

(KJV) And went away again beyond Jordan into the place where John at first baptized; and there he abode.
