Translations

(Etheridge) and many of them said, He has a devil, and is altogether insane, ^{[Meshno sheno: Conf. SCHAFF. in voc. et BUXTORF. Thes. ii. 16.]} why do you hear him ?

(Murdock) And many of them said: He hath a demon, and is wholly beside himself; why hear ye him?

(Lamsa) And many of them said, He is insane and rambles; why do you listen to him?

(KJV) And many of them said, He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him?
